Advanced Micro Devices has outperformed over the past year as its EPYC server CPUs are gaining data-center share, benefiting from both traditional cloud demand and the AI infrastructure buildout. Its AI GPU opportunity is expanding, with major deployments such as OpenAI’s multi-year AMD Instinct agreement creating a potentially huge new revenue stream.
In comparison, AMD stock has outperformed its rival, NVIDIA Corporation ( NVDA ). BDX stock has gained 20.8% over the past 52 weeks and 16.7% on a YTD basis.
